If you are afraid of Muslims, here is story you should not miss reading. If you hate them, this is story that can trigger an impulse of change in your mind. Who said Islam is all about Jihad? Who said Muslims are arrogant people, hungry for blood? Who said they hate peace?
A train through the New York subway chose to run across religious divides instead of rails. One of the passengers on this peace messenger was the almighty, Allah himself. As doors opened in a subway-station eventually, he had already scripted a thumping inauguration to a new paradigm, this Hanukkah, ‘Muslims are not militants; they are makers of peace‘.
Hassan Askari, an American Muslim student, a Bangladeshi national and the Allah on board, won his ‘mulk’ immediate respect when he stood in time to rescue two Jewish couples from an irritant white group, trying to pound them for ‘mere festival wishes’. Tensions started when the 10-member white-gang yelled, ‘Merry Christmas’ and Mr. Walter Adler, a Jew, answered ‘Happy Hanukah’. Annoyed by this innocent remark from the Jews, the white men started beating them up. When Hassan tried to stop them and pleaded for peace, the poor Muslim was rounded up and pinned. Thankfully, the Jews managed to pull the emergency alarm and the police reached in time when the train came to a halt at the next station. Both the Adlers and Hassan have suffered hard injuries.
One of the Jews recalled the whites tell, “You dirty Jews, you killed Jesus on Hanukah, you should all die‘. This incident has sent peace waves across the city of New York. A new Muslim outlook has emerged. A message has begun to ring every ear in the country that stood witness to 9/11. Let us hope these waves of peace will move past the American shores into the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean and also strike drums in Mecca, Jerusalem and the Vatican.
