“Once we come together and become one, terror will be exorcised like a nightmare. We must fight this war without condemning any religion. We are defending human freedom”, said Dr. L.M. Singhvi, former Indian High Commissioner to UK. He added that ” We are already in the midst of an undeclared Third World War. Terrorism is depriving manking of values of our civilisation and it is a great violation of human rights.”

Delivering the keynote address at the ‘International Conference on Global Terrorism’ on the eve of the World Anti-Terrorism Day at New Delhi on September 10, British High Commissioner Michael Arthur said ” We need to learn from India, which with 150 million-strong Muslim population has shown how to live in peaceful co-existence. The key hallmarks of Britain and India are multi-cultural plurality.”

At last, wisdom has descended on the UK to realise the grave implications of the menace of terrorism, eating the vitals of the democracy.
