Bangladesh is a haven for terrorists

Bangladesh in the Indian sub-continent, going down the fundamentalist route for some decades, has fast come up as a country where terrorists can roam free. Little wonder, an Islamist terrorist group in Bangladesh figures in the proposed list of the UK for banning terrorist organisations. A deep pocket filled by oil rich hands, virtually unrelenting acess to arms, an insidious nexus with mainstream political parties and the government’s blind eye to them – the deadly concoction that has made it possible for the religious terrorist groups to thrive in Bangladesh, writes a columnist.
