Bush announces renewed war on Islamo-facism

The US President Bush has announced renewed war on Islamo-fascism. Firmly rejecting the demand for a withdrawal of the US troops from Iraq he tried to refocus America’s attention on the threat from Islamic terrorism. He was addressing the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington on 06 October. He claimed the US and its allies had thrawted away at least 10 serious Al-Qaida plots since 9/11, compared the war on terrorism to the struggle against Communism and outlined what he said was a broad strategy by Muslim terrorists to dominate much of the world.
