France is limping back to normalcy

France is limping back to normalcy following more than 12-day long unrest in which the Muslim immigrant youth unleashed vandalism, threatening the tranquility not only in France but also in the neighbouring European countries. Little wonder, the unrest has spread to Belgium though it has not escalated on the scale of France. A lot of analysis has come out. But should France and European countries adopt the posture of ostrich. Unemployment among the beurs, as the immigrant Muslims are referred to in France, was merely an excuse to justify the riots. Even if the French Government empower all the Muslims with jobs, the Muslims will invent another reason to foment trouble as the Islam is interwoven with politics. Commentators such as Souheila Al-Jadde will continue to parrot “France must acknowledge the frustations of the youth and graciously implement sweeping reforms to improve social conditions for minorities. Finally, they must not forget the (lofty) slogan of their country’s own revolution which represents the founding principles of the French Republic ‘Liberty, equality, fraternity’, for all”. Why improvement in social conditions for minorities only? This minoritism has already played havoc in several countries. Why all the sermons to Franch ruling leaders? Why not sermons to the strife-loving Muslim youth? It is a fact, that majority of Muslims, peace-loving, has withdrawn in a sullen mood all over the world. But they find themselves at loss to appeal and approach the bunch of mis-guided youth who are out to establish the rule of Sharia all over the world.
