Terrorism has become a frankenstein’s monster in Pakistan. Pakistan’s rulers, civilian or army generals, continue to raise terrorists overtly and covertly since its birth way back in 1947 following partition of the Indian sub-continent in India and Pakistan.

Terrorists’ incidents are being reported regularly from Pakistan. In the latest incident, at least six persons were killed and several injured in two powerful explosions that rocked Lahore on September 22. A remote controlled device triggered both the explosions. The explosives were mounted on bicycles parked in crowded localities of the medieval city. Explosions are believed to be the handiworks of activists of terrorist outfits against whom the Musharraf Government cracked down in recent weeks.
