The delicate Israil-Palestine relationship is once again under strain. A suicide bomb attack on Monay (April 17) in Tel Aviv had killed the bomber and nine others. Israel government may declare the Hamas-led Palestinian government an enemy entity.

The Palestinian terrorist group Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for Monday’s terror attack, identifying the bomber as 21-year-old Sami Salim Muhammad Hamamdi.

Interestingly, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, whose Fatah party lost January’s parliamentary elections to Hamas, condemned the attack.

After its election victory, the Hamas-led government refused to meet demands by Western nations to renounce violence and recognize the Jewish state’s right to exist –although it has maintained a cease-fire.

The United States, European Union and Israel consider Hamas a terrorist organization.
