A Jammu and Kashmir Province Minister of State is among the four persons killed in the latest terrorists’ attack in Tulsi Bag, a high security zone of Srinagar on October 18 morning notwithstanding the unilateral declaration of the ceasefire by a federation of terrorists in Pakistan in the wake of earthquake. The victim was Dr Gulam Nabi Lone of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His neighbour Mohammed Yousuf Tarigami, a Communist legislator escaped unhurt.

Tarigami said that it was security lapse as two heavily armed terrorists succeeded in entering the high security zone without frisking. Al-Mansoorian, a terrorist group owned the responsibility for the attack. One terrorist and two security personnel also died in the attack. One passerby civilian was injured. Dr. Lone was the third minister in the strife-torn state to fall victim to the bullets of terrorists.
