Notwithstanding the efforts of the Indian government to keep the programme of the U.S. President Bush under wraps, the Left Opposition parties seem to know the programme of the visiting dignitary in March 2006 and plan to organise protests accordingly. The Left parties are in the ruling alliance, led by Dr. Manmohan Singh of the Congress.

As per information, available to the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Bush reached India on March 01 night, spend March 02 in Delhi, visit to Hyderabad in Souuthern India on March 03 before flying off to Pakistan. Bush is unlikely to address the joint session of both the houses of Indian Parliament. An US official said that the programme of the President BUsh was open to last-minute changes.
