Myanmar (Burma) is top conflict-prone country

Myanmar (Burma) tops the list of conflict-prone countries in the world. Another South-east Asian country, India, long-mired in violence in Kashmir, comes second to it. These disclosures have come out in the ‘Human Security Report, 2005′. This report, in turn, draws on research by Sweden’s Uppsala University and the International Peace Research Institute in Oslo on conflicts during 1946-2003).
