The ruling Junta in Myanmar has shifted the capital of the country to Pyinmana town, about 250 miles north of the current capital, Yangon, formerly Rangoon. A minister said there was a need for a “command and control center” in a strategic location. Pyinmana is surrounded by mountains and forests.
