Al Qaeda is gaining in numbers, thanks to prolific sympathy from vulnerable and conservative sections among the Muslims pinning to decimate the western ethos perceived as against Islam, taking no time in converting themselves terrorists. The war on terror that decimated it to some extent from Afghanistan also helped it in drawing more sympathizers from Muslim-converts in Europe, trained in Pakistan, often considered to be a safe haven for terrorism.
Pakistan becoming a terror-exporting pedestal is not a new phenomenon or converging ideological ground breaking. The story is deeply rooted in its history and consequent Islamization by successive rulers. The use of the soil to propagate anti-Indian venom in the name of Jihad and patronage extended to the radical elements by the Zia-ul-Haq administration to gain ground in Afghanistan against the Soviets has now grown in to a full throttle terror base in Pakistan. The madrassas (mosques) in Pakistan are not only preaching radicalism to the home grown terrorists to wage Jihad in Afghanistan and India, but the disgruntled elements from the USA and UK are also getting brain wash treatment to make terror headway in the West. The London bombers had their training in the radical atmosphere of Pakistan.
The number of militants conspiring against Europe and the U.S. has seen a considerable increase and the recent attacks, foiled or successful are a point in this regard. A terror attack was foiled in Germany last week and the arrests that followed surprised many, particularly seeing European nationals trained in Pakistan’s Wajiristan, conspiring against Europe. Pakistan has always offered a safe stay for terrorists, even if it pretends its participation in the war on terror with the US. Also aiding the terror outfits in their violent militant tactics is Uzbekistan, supporting, sheltering and fulfilling their requirements. The collaboration of both has given rise to Islamic Jihad Union that seems to be increasingly becoming birth ground for many a terrorist.
One side of the Europeans is fighting the terrorists in Afghanistan, while the other faction of Europeans, particularly Muslims is aiding terrorists to split blood in their own land. What a change of events! It seems the Al Qaeda is gaining in popularity amongst the Muslim masses in Europe, who enter the terror realms blindfolded, posing danger for the country. The discrimination of Muslims in their resident nations can be the main reason of conflict between nationalism and religion. Also, once their religious leaders support outfits like Al Qaeda, they lose no time in aiding and being a part of such terrorist organizations. Moreover, the easy branding of any kind of attack anywhere in the world on Muslims has infused in them a sense of humiliation and hatred for the West, which they are using to aid terrorism in different parts of the globe. They don’t shirk from terrorizing their own land, a crude fact that spells danger everywhere.
The world is confronting a different kind of terrorism, in which nationals are fighting their nation, posing danger for the entire world. This puts the immigration of skilled men from Asia and Africa to developed world in jeopardy. The ongoing distrust is putting the scholarly pursuit of thousands of students in trouble. Communities are waiting for impending clash and terror master in Pakistan are happy to see the humanity-nearing bloodbath.
