US President George W Bush has replied to Clindy Sheehan in the similar vein by drafting a mother of five sons, four of whom are presently serving in Iraq and one returned recently from Iraq, in the ‘battle of all mothers’ over the war in Iraq. This development has come in the wake of growing band of anti-war activists who are joining protest mom Clandy Sheehan’s movement against the war.

Bush rallied a pro-war crowd on a tour of Idaho in the US saying ” There are few things in life more difficult than seeing a loved one go off to war. A mom, named Tammy Pruett knows that feeling six times over.” Tammy Pruett’s husband too returned from Iraq recently.

He quoted Tammy as saying “I know that if something happens to one of the boys, they would leave this world doing what they believe, what they think is right for our country. ” President Bush said, “And I guess you couldn’t ask for a better way of life that you believe in. America lives in freedom because of families like the Pruetts”.

On the other hand, Cindy Sheehan, who had earned the sobriquet of ‘Peace Mom’, continues in her anti-war protest. The ranks of anti-war activists, who are joining Cindy Sheehan, has been swelling every passing day. One of the protesters said: “This is Vietnam no. 2. The American people are beginning to realise this war was created on lies, deceit and deception.”
