A woman, carrying improvished explosive device, was blown to pieces as the device exploded on October 13th morning at Awantipora, about 30 kms. from Srinagar, capital of Kashmir in India, on the national highway connecting Srinagar to rest of India. The target is believed to be disrupting traffic on the highway which is at present crowded with relief convoys for earthquake affected areas.
