In the wake of little support for the call of the Pakistan for relief for earthquake’s victims, Rahul Bedi in a despatch to the Daily Telegraph London has come out with a observation that the terrorist camps used by jehadists battling with the Indian army for control of Kashmir were buried by landslides or left in ruind by the earthquake, bringing hope of a new opportunity for peace-making after a 16-year Islamic insurgency. Interesting is the tone of the London newspaper in the wake of 7/7 bombings in London. 16 years ago, this newspaper used to exaggerate the happennings in the Kashmir in India. There is a descernible change in the use of word. Mind the words ‘jehadis’ instead of freedom fighters; ‘Islamic insurgency’ instead of Movement of liberation from Indian yolk etc.
