Pakistan-based Hizb ul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin aka Pir Salahuddin is on a visit to Saudia Arabia for the ostensible purpose of performing Haj or Umra (in case if he has visited Mecca earlier) notwithstanding the havoc wreaked on the citizens in northern Pakistan on account of earthquake. Instead of plunging his might for the relief measures, he has chosen to visit Saudia Arabia. Some suggest that it is the stock-taking visit to assess and plan to fuel the Jehad. But one thing is certain that it is the time to collect alms from the pious haj performers, numbering in several hundred thousands from all corners of the world. And this opportunity comes once in a year. How could the jehadi leader miss it?

On the other hand, he, as the chief of the Jehadi Council, a conglomeration of 13 Pakistan-based terrorist groups, announced a unilateral ceasefire due to devastation caused by earthquake but his followers in Kashmir (India) responded to his call by gunning down ten Hindus just one day after earthquake.
